It makes me so upset that I got so little time with her. I've been sitting trying to think about what I should say, and I have decided that there is nothing I can say. Though I can't say much, I was very young, I do love her, still. I cannot write a paragraph, I don't remember much, but know this. I am so, so happy to be able to call her my mother, still.

Its been a while and it's hard to believe your actually gone... I keep expecting you to pop up and be like get back to class you. It's hard knowing your up there but I wish you the best of luck. Forever and always in my heart. You were always one of my favorites and yea we had our disagreements but we worked it out and I just wish you were still here to help me and give me advice and I wish you could see me right now Mrs.Taubert. I'm gonna go through and get into the army just like I promised and I'll make you promise of me. I won't let you down. Just because you have become a higher up doesn't mean you stop judging everything I do okay?

Miss Taubert you were my absolute FAVORITE staff. Just your presence in B Cottage made the day better for me. You absolutely made such a positive impact on my life. Especially as a teen going down a wrong path. I'll always remember you. It was you that made me want to work at HGS, although I didn't accept the job, I just wanted to help a young woman be better the way you helped me. RIP, I'm so sorry to your family and everyone else affected by your passing.

Jess will be greatly missed by many, and I am grateful to include myself in that group despite the sadness of her passing. She had a way about her that was immediately genuine, calming and kind, not to just the children she worked with but to coworkers as well. I would imagine this held true for anyone who met her.
Many thoughts of comfort as possible to Sarah, Riley and Jack, and family.
Rest easy Jess ❤
