MICHAEL WAYNE TRENT, JR. (Age 22)
On Tuesday, June 14, 2011 of Bryans Road, MD. Beloved husband of Ashley Trent; devoted father of J'Shaun, Jordan, Maliah, Nyala and Kassaye; dear son of Michael Trent, Sr. and Vanessa Trent: loving brother of Michelle Trent. He is also survived by grandmothers, Royalene Trent and Cynthia Wiggins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, June 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD and on Wednesday, June 26 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service 10:30 a.m. at Jericho City of Praise, 8501 Jericho City Dr., Landover, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery.

Saying goodbye today was one of the hardest things i have had to do in a VERY long time. I wanted you to wake up so bad when i looked at you. It watch your family suffer was not any easier! Imma miss you SO much Mike!!
To the Trent Family:
Today was the first time i have seen any of you. Im sorry i couldnt have met you earlier and for better reasons. I went to school with Michael and have kept in contact since. He was VERY loved and cared about. i pray for all of you every day as i could not be in your shoes. I cant imagine losing a husband, a brother..I lost a son and it was not easy! May God give you the courage to keep you moving forward! And Mike will forever live in all of us and Especially his children!!

We were family at Southern Maryland Martial Arts. Michael was always so sweet and had a big kind heart. Our hearts are broken and it pains us to tears to know that Michael has passed away.

I remember the years at Mathew Henson Middle School, you were one of my closest friends for a long time. Attending different High School kinda separated us, but nevertheless I still loved you the same. I know we've had our ups and downs, but ALWAYS I LOVE YOU AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!!

I send my deepest sympathy to the entire Trent Family. I’ve know Michael since he was in elementary school always at my house with his sister and always so respectful. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Have comfort knowing that Michael is in God's hand and put your trust in him to see you through this tough time.

First of all my deepest sympathy go out to my cousin Vanessa, Michael dad, Michael wife and kids. For the short 2 weeks he spent hanging with my son TJ,about 2 yrs ago. I found Michael to be a nice, smart and kind hearted young man. Every since that time Michael will call every once in a while to check on me ( Tonya ), TJ and Derrick.
