I've met Ms.Perucci a few times she was my daughters teacher (an awesome teacher) very sweet lady. It was so sad to hear of this. May you rest peacefully!

Dear Perucci Family,
I had MS. Perucci and she was my favorite teacher ever. She not just taught English, she also taught us about life and how to deal with problems. Sometimes I can still visualize her smiling and laughing with our class. Her funny and cute comments always put a smile on my face. Ms. Perucci was very sincere about helping others- for example, she loved helping me out with my short story and was very attentive to all of my questions. She will always be remembered by everyone, whether they had her or not. Thank you Ms. Perucci.

Both of my kids had Deanna ("Ms. Perucci") this year and loved her! I met her twice and was blown away by her warmth, smile and passion for teaching. I felt so lucky that my kids had her. Please know she left a lasting impact on us and will never be forgotten. I have such a warmhearted email from her I am happy to share with her family. My sincere condolences for your devastating loss... it's truly unbelievable. Sounds like she was an amazing person who touched so many lives in her short time here.

I am so grateful for having had the privilege of working with DeAnna at Hoover. I did not know her well, but in the few interactions we did have, her kindness and vivacious personality warmed my heart. Truly, the love she had for teaching and for life was also shared with us in the small details of her smiles, her funny comments, and her sincere interest in those around her. Thank you DeAnna for being an example of kindess, of love, of fun, and of excellent teaching.

Ms. Perucci was truly the greatest teacher I ever had. I am a seventh grader in her English class. She was always incredibly kind, and her lessons were ever so interesting. She was a fantastic teacher, and of course, an amazing person. Ms. Perucci will be dearly missed.

I am a student at Hoover Middle School. I am an eighth grader and know some of your closest students. I may have never met you, but by the way these students talk about you, it seemed like you were a great teacher and person. You shouldn't have left so early, and I wish I could have talked to you or known you better than I did. May you Rest In Peace.
