On Sunday, September 16, 2018, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late Gary Brunetti; mother of Mark (Holly) Brunetti; grandmother of Peter Brunetti; daughter of the late Michael and Helen Schommer; sister of Kathleen "Kaye" (the late Michael) M. Schommer Dobson Flannery, Margaret (Robert) Ann Schommer Roth, Clare (the late Fred) Patricia Schommer Reese, and Rosemary (Robert) Schommer Marggraf; daughter-in-law of Katherine and the late Frank Brunetti; sister-in-law of David Brunetti and Diane (Dennis) Koontz. Marilyn was born in Washington, DC, on June 22, 1947. She grew up in Silver Spring, MD, attending Notre Dame Academy, and graduated from Montgomery College. She was retired from the Organization of American States. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday, September 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist, 10103 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Monday, September 24, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

My heart is heavy with loss of my dear friend, ex-colleague and ex-roommate, Marilyn. She touched many lives both professionally and privately, tirelessly lending her support, love, advice and ever present positivity. She ws imbued with a calmness and grace, which she imparted to many foreign nationals at the OAS, starting their new lives in the nation's Capitol. Our lives were truly enriched by knowing her. She was a devoted wife to her dear husband, Gary and was ecstatic when Mark, her son was born. She also leaves behind her four devoted sisters. Rest in peace, dear friend. Always in my heart, Linda
