On November 11, 2003, a 1944 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. Survived by wife, Anne Catherine of Alexandria, VA; children, John of Alexandria, Michael of Columbia, SC, Mary Grady of Oakland, CA, Teresa of Fairfax, VA, Peter of Fort Mill, SC, Thomas of Phoenix, AZ, Stephen of Fairfax, VA; and 10 grandchildren. Memorial Service at St. Mary's Church, 310 Duke St., Alexandria, VA, on Saturday, November 15 at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery, Tuesday, December 16, 9 a.m. with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia Community Hospice, 122-A East Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046.
