Anna V. Tkacik

Anna V. (Roman) Tkacik, age 97, formerly of Esplen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Andrew "Ticky" Tkacik. Loving mother of Christine (Andy) Sante and Mary Anne (Roger) Devonshire; grandmother of Barbara (Shawn) Gallagher, Lisa (Tom) Rippole, Robert (Amanda) Gallagher, and Andrea (Matt) Bartel; great-grandmother of Gavin, Ava, Landon, and Carson; sister of the late Joseph Roman; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Anna enjoyed sewing, bowling, and was known for baking pizzelle and nut roll. She was also a former lector at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St Mary, Help of Christians Church and volunteered in the pizza kitchen. She was also a participant in the City of Pittsburgh Senior Olympic Games. Relatives and friends received Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108. Funeral prayer Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St Mary, Help of Christians Church, 1011 Church Avenue, McKees Rocks. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
