Dr. HOMER ORO ELSEROAD
On January 16, 2013, Dr. Homer Oro Elseroad; devoted husband of Mary Ruth Chlad Elseroad, and the late Laura Breeden Elseroad; loving father of Homer Jeffrey and wife Margaret J. Elseroad and David Breeden Elseroad, Sr.; grandfather of David B. Elseroad, Jr., Joseph C. Elseroad, Patricia A. Anderson, Jessie A. Becker, J. Scott Elseroad, and Laura R. Elseroad; great grandfather of Lily M. Anderson, Jackson D. Elseroad, Noah M. Anderson, Aubrey E. Elseroad. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A), Towson, MD on Sunday 1 to 4 p.m., where a Funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Private. Dr. Elseroad was probably one of the most gifted county school supervisors to ever fill the seat.
Montgomery County Schools owe a huge debt of gratitude to him.
Even today, his early essays on school development can be found round the world and used as a guide in helping teachers and administrators relate better to their pupils.
I wish I could have thanked him and shaken his hand.

not sure if the family will read this. I am Nick Skinner from Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, it was my privilege to assist the family out here. Homer and Laurie were our neighbors in ijamsville until Laurie's passing and Homer moving to Buckinghams Choice. You could not have asked for better neighbors and friends. They will truly be missed

Homer was my mentor and friend in the late 60s, as Superintendent of Schools. What a terrific executive and a wonderful person.
