As cousins growing up together we had great memories. These memories will stay with me forever. It's not like loosing a cousin it's like loosing a brother. Really going to miss you Duane.

First grammar school and 4H. Then high school and FFA. Next the Navy for you, the Marines for me. Class reunions over the years. Dinner with you and Lynnette last August. And, now, sadly, this.

If there is a there I hope to see you again someday. However, if there is there, I expect I will be heading South. Wave when I pass by.

Duane accepted me as a friend from the moment we met - because I was Lynnette's friend - and that was good enough for him. He was a special man with a warm and open heart. I value the chance I had to know him and enjoyed the times we had together very much.
