Born amidst the vibrant spirit of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, on May 31, 1941, Felix's journey was one driven by a deep-seated dedication, perseverance, and love for his family.
He was the husband of Evelyn Guzman, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage-years filled with a love that sustained them through every challenge. Together, they forged a legacy rooted in hard work, resilient hope, raising eight children whose lives he shaped both as a disciplinarian and as a teacher of life skills that they continue to carry on today. Emerging from humble beginnings, Felix learned early on the profound importance of effort and perseverance, dedicating his life to building and transforming homes with his own hands-homes that stand as enduring symbols of his passion and dedication, foundations for generations to come.
Felix was born to create. His soul ignited by a fiery passion for crafting, fixing, and constructing, he found joy in every nail driven, every plan drawn, every project brought to life. His creativity knew no limits, matched only by his fierce determination and strength of will. Known for his innovation, resilience, and fierce spirit, Felix never bowed to adversity-he faced every challenge head-on, always ready to lend his skilled hands and generous heart to those in need. He leaves behind a loving wife, Evelyn Guzman; children-Ricardo Guzman, Felix Manuel Guzman, Melvin Guzman, Felix Luis Guzman Jr., Eliud Guzman, Evelyn Janette Gould, Joe Guzman, and Nancy Yanira Carpenter-and a multitude of grandchildren and extended family, all of whom will carry his spirit proudly, cherishing his memory and continuing his legacy with pride and love.
In sorrow, we remember those who preceded him-his parents, Gregorio and Belen Guzman, and his siblings: Flor Guzman, William Guzman, Gregorio Guzman Jr., Ana Luisa Guzman, Blacina Guzman, Herminia Guzman, and Mercedes Guzman-whose spirits now join his in eternal peace.
