Michael Gray Obituary

Michael T. Gray was born on December 13, 1948 in Stewartstown, NH to Clyde B. Gray and Pearl C. Gray. He was the youngest of three children including Clyde B. Gray (deceased) and his wife Suzanne and Sheldon A. Gray and his wife Elaine. He leaves behind the love of his life, Mary Melanie Gray, his wife of 36 years. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Michael graduated from Colebrook Academy in 1967 and began his 45 year Construction Career working on Interstate 89. He continued to build roads, interstate highways, airports, hospitals and jails until his retirement. He always had a story to tell about the projects he had worked on. He was a retired member of IUOE local #98 and was happiest running big equipment on big projects for large contractors. He joined the Masonic Lodge, Evening Star 37, at the age of twenty-one and recently proudly received his 50 year pin. Michael was also a member of the Bektash Shrine and joined the Ocala Shrine Club after moving to Florida. He loved snowmobiling, fast cars but most especially Golf. He was a 30 year member of the Balsams Country Club in New Hampshire and later a member of the Orleans Country Club in Vermont. After moving to Florida, he played golf to his hearts content and made three holes in one. He was very proud of that accomplishment. Michael lived in Colebrook, New Hampshire for many years and was very proud of his hometown. After retiring, he and Melanie moved to The Villages, Florida. He enjoyed the warm weather and being able to play golf year round. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 23, 2025 12:00 PM at the Laurel Manor Recreation Center in The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Michael's memory be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
