Ronnie Trower Obituary

Ronnie Dean Trower, age 72, of New Port Richey, Florida, peacefully entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on April 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie was born in Leon, Iowa, on October 9th, 1952 to Dale M. Trower and Leola May Smith Trower. He graduated from Kellerton High School and continued his education at Southwest Community College. With a deep passion for automotive engineering, Ronnie went on to share his knowledge as an instructor at Des Moines Community College, where he helped train the next generation of technicians for Ford Motor Company. His career with Ford later led him across the globe as a service engineer, a role he embraced wholeheartedly. After retiring, he settled in Florida and continued to give back to his community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. On April 11, 2015, Ronnie married the love of his life, Jennetta Trower. Together, they shared ten wonderful years filled with joy, partnership, and faith. Ronnie is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Jason and Jeff Trower, both of Canton, Michigan; his daughter, Brandy Vernon; and his five stepchildren: Kristen Foster, Ryan Kanner, Gregory Kanner, Jessica Paone, and Nicole Mihal. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Christopher and Luke Trower, Emma and Hannah Kanner, Bradley, Emmett, and Eli Paone, Aiden and Paige Foster, and Aria Mihal. He is also survived by his sister, Jane Ellen Trower Sickels, and was preceded in death by his brother, Larry D. Trower. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Ronnie's life, legacy, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
