Never knew Helen outside of our euchre game days. Always with a smile. Will miss her and our spirited games.

My Aunt Helen was always a joy to see and meet with. I remember the many times that my mom and dad would take us to LaFayette to visit with Bob and Helen. She was always kind and curious about what was going on in our lives. The last time that I saw her was at my Mom's funeral in May of 2017. We always enjoyed meeting with Helen and her family (Jimmy and Terry) and playing euchre with all of them. Some of my favorite memories are of the Cunningham family reunions at the park on the river just across from Americus where her dad and mom (Alfred and Versia) raised 9 kids, I can remember attending one of those reunions and afterwards remarking to my mom (Phyllis Cunningham) how lucky the family was that at that time all 9 of the Cunningham kids were still alive. Sadly, only Harriet and Marge as well as aunt Barbara are still with us. They were a great and fun family and I loved them all. But I am now 72 and my kid sister (Shelley) will soon be 70 and next year my youngest sister will be 70. My wife (Cyndy) and I are blessed to have 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with 6 kids between us. Life has been very hard at times but I have had 2 great careers in the Utility business and we give thanks to our creator for every day that we have now that we are in the autumn of our lives. God is great!!!

I didn´t meet Helen until I lived at 5 Star. She was such a beautiful lady, always smiling and had a way of making everyone feel special. I will miss seeing her.

Helen lived across from Jeff´s dad at 5 star, she was always the sweetest to all of us, meeting us with a smile and always reassuring us the dad was doing fine. She always loved my granddaughter and her friends coming to visit and made a point to visit with them. Very special lady that will be missed by all.
