Daniel Cauble Obituary

In Loving Memory of Daniel Lee Cauble June 9, 1954 – May 19, 2025 Daniel Lee Cauble, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and dedicated psychotherapist, passed away on May 19, 2025 surrounded by his wife and son. Born in Rockford, Illinois on June 9, 1954, Dan brought warmth, wisdom, and laughter to everyone whose life he touched. His journey through life was marked by deep compassion, unwavering kindness, and an irrepressible spirit that made him unforgettable to all who knew him. Sharing a beautiful, adventurous and amazing 28 years together, Dan was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Cassandra. He was also a very proud, caring and supportive father to his son, Donald Cauble, to whom he grew closer with each passing year. Dan was known to many as an dynamic psychotherapist, helping countless patients navigate life's challenges with grace, empathy, deep insight and of course...a little bit of humor. To those who knew him personally, he was the one who always showed up - the first to offer help, a listening ear, or simply a comforting presence when it was needed most. His selflessness was as much a part of him as his infectious laughter. Dan could turn any moment into a wonderful celebration. Dan's life was one of quiet strength and radiant generosity. He will be remembered not only for what he did but for how he made people feel: safe, seen, and deeply loved - a gentle reminder that love, like his, leaves lasting footprints on the path of every life it touches. Dan is survived by his wife Cassandra, son Donald, sisters Nancy and Patricia, brother Gary, nieces Serena and Ashley, nephews Jake and Scott, along with numerous friends who were lucky to call him family in spirit, if not in blood. A memorial service will be held on May 31, 2025 at 10am at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary in Scottsdale, with a small reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dan's memory to the National Park Foundation, so that we may honor his love for nature and his cherished memories of the Grand Canyon.
