Daniel Hunkele Obituary

"Daniel "Danny" Hunkele passed away Sunday, August 17th, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and quiet strength. Danny was a devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. To everyone who knew him, he was the best big brother - smart, talented, and endlessly patient. Even through many health struggles, he never complained. Instead, he spent his time caring for others, offering encouragement, and making sure those around him felt supported. Danny was a talented artist and woodworker who created many beautiful pieces. He loved sharing his creativity, often sitting with others, teaching them how to draw or create their own art. Never impatient or unkind, what mattered most to him was doing the right thing and looking out for others. His compassion and thoughtfulness touched everyone blessed to know him. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia and Daniel Hunkele. He is survived by his siblings, Joseph (Caylin) and Kathryn (Andrew), along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward. Danny's presence was truly a gift, and his absence leaves a hole in many hearts. His kindness, laughter, creativity, and steady care for others will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him."
