Jerome Dulski Obituary

Jerome R. Dulski With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Jerry Dulski, 83, on January 14, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ. Jerry was born in 1941 in Chicago, IL, to Raymond and Eleanor Dulski. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, he worked as a pressman at Commerce Clearing House (CCH) for 36 years until January 1994. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carol, and sister-in-law Alane. He is survived by his spouse, Phyllis, and leaves behind a cherished blended family of children, stepchildren, and grandchildren: Kathy (Robert). David (Ashley). Julie (James) and grandchildren Ava and Hayden. Doug (Karyn) and granddaughters Kiera and Elena. Vicki (Rod) and grandson Deacon. Jerry also leaves behind his brother, William Dulski, loving cousins, nieces, nephews, former spouses Kathie (mother of Kathy, Carol, and David) and Cathy (mother of Julie), and many dear friends. Jerry embodied enthusiasm, curiosity, and humor. Everyone who knew him recognized his love for dancing, gardening, winemaking, Heath Blizzards, learning new technology, and playing cards (especially pinochle). He particularly enjoyed playing games with his cherished grandchildren. Jerry was athletic and enjoyed playing golf for many years. He was proud to have achieved the elusive hole-in-one! Known for his artistic talent, Jerry constantly explored various art forms. In early years, he enjoyed photography and stained-glass art. Later, he discovered metal art and started creating pieces that he gifted to family and friends across the country intending to have one in every state. Jerry was a true jack of all trades and significantly improved every house he lived in. He was proud to have achieved his dream of building a home alongside Phyllis. In their spare time, he and Phyllis enjoyed traveling the world together. Though he may be gone, family and friends will continue to imagine him saying his catchphrases: "Hey poncho" "Just saying" "It is what it is" "Leave it better than you found it" Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jerry Dulski's life at a luncheon from noon to 3 pm on June 8 at the Parkway by the Lake Banquets in Ingleside, IL. Burial will be at Ridgewood Cemetery in Niles, IL, and is private.
