Joseph Calomino-Valdez Obituary

On Saturday March 1st, 2025, Sergeant Joey Calomino-Valdez, an adored son, brother, grandson, friend, and veteran of the Marine Corp, tragically lived his last day at only 24 years old. Joey's first day was May thirty thirst (haha) of the year 2000. He Came into this world with his hair on fire and never slowed down for one minute. He was born with a personality that would light up a night sky with no moon. He completed High School at the age of 17 to become a proud Marine, where he served alongside his newly acquired brothers whom he loved. Once Joey returned home, he found a new passion for life and began a successful career as a leader in automotive management alongside his dad. Joey loved fast cars, big trucks, and music. He loved talking to everyone. When he was little, he'd introduce himself to random strangers, even offering them his dinner. Joey continued the rest of his life with the same loving and giving heart. Joey's passion was for people, starting with his mama and best friend Jen. He adored his younger brother Vinny and the man who filled the role of "dad", Isaac. Joey had the best Grandparents, the closest friends, and the tightest brotherhoods from his time in service. Joey was larger than life and will leave a hole in the hearts of many. God Bless you Joey! Joey was proceeded in death by his Mame Helen, Gma Julia, and Papa John. He is survived by his Mother (Jen), Brother (Vinny), Dad (Isaac), Papa Micheal, and many more cousins, Aunts, Uncles. Sergeant Joey CaLomino-Valdez will be honored at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado followed by a celebration of life with dates to be announced.
