Roberta (Robbie) Ann Lipscomb – Grostick, of Sun City, Arizona went peacefully to be with our Lord on August 31, 2025. She was 69 years young.
Robbie was born to Edward and Thelma Lipscomb on July 25, 1956, along with her twin brother Robert (Bobby) in Cleveland, Ohio. Robbie is one of nine siblings.
Robbie married her husband Donald R. Grostick at the tender age of 17 on January 10, 1974, in Clarksville, TN. At that time, Donald was proudly serving in the U.S. Army and was stationed at nearby Ft. Cambell in KY.
Robbie entered her marriage to Donald with her first-born daughter, Katherine (Katie). Later she would give birth to her second daughter, Donna, and then her baby boy, her son, David. Robbie loved her husband and children. When the kids were little, she loved to play with barbie dolls with her daughters and Hot Wheels cars with her son. Robbie loved to color, draw, and listen to music with her children. Robbie loved holidays. She would decorate for just about any holiday and loved to cook up a feast. She had her family over to celebrate.
After the children grew up and began living out their adult lives, Robbie and Donald spent their retirement years camping, traveling the country, and visiting National Parks in their RV. In addition, Robbie loved going out to eat and she loved animals. She had numerous cats and dogs in her life.
Robbie was a very proud and patriotic Army wife for the 20 years that Donald served in the U.S. Army. She was proud to have traveled the world with her family, supporting Donald's career.
