Thomas Scott Obituary

Thomas Albert Scott Jr., born in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 10, 1946, was called home on May 17, 2025, in Desert Hills, Arizona, at the age of 79. A proud veteran, Thomas honorably served his country in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 as part of the U.S. Army's 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor. After his military service, he dedicated himself to building a successful business, which he later sold in order to enjoy a well-earned retirement focused on spending time with his family. Thomas is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Edith Scott; his sons, Thomas Scott III and John Scott; and his Cherished Grandsons, TJ Scott and Jaston Scott; Great Grandchildren, Ryker Scott and Paisely Scott; Siblings, Brother Aaron Scott, Sister Millie Christian. Services to Honor and Celebrate Thomas's life will be held: Date: Friday, June 13, 2025 Location: Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 · Viewing: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Services: 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM Thomas will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 · Interment: 2:00 PM Thomas will be remembered as a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a man of quiet strength.
