Yolanda Rose Boyd

Yolanda Rose Boyd (Ferraris) 96, of Cave Creek, Arizona, passed away on February 19th, 2025. Born in Teaneck, New Jersey on October 29th, 1928. Yolanda grew up and went to school in Englewood, New Jersey. She enjoyed days at the shore with family and friends, dancing, modeling and making her own stylish dresses. She worked for Parents Magazine, and had a career as a supervisor for New Jersey Bell. She married the love of her life Robert "Bob" Boyd of Afton, Iowa in 1956. Yolanda was an avid artist, dancer and horse woman. The couple relocated to Arizona in 1970 where they enjoyed the western lifestyle with their daughter Denise Burns (Boyd). The family spent time riding horses through the desert, riding in parades, and horse show events. Yolanda was a lover of all animals small or large, taking in and caring for many strays. She never met a stranger, and enjoyed sharing stories of her many adventures. In later years she loved spending time with her granddaughter Britney Burns, going to see her singing performances and going out for lunch. Yolanda is survived by her brother John Ferraris of Copersburg, Pennsylvania, her daughter Denise Burns (Boyd) of Cave Creek, Arizona, and her Granddaughter Britney Burns of Cave Creek, Arizona.
