Andrew Ashbacher Obituary

Andrew Alan Ashbacher

Andy passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 after a courageous battle with ALS. He was 62 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Donna Sobien, and sister-in-law Suzie Wood. Survived by his wife of 40 years Sandi, his daughter Amanda and her husband Troy, his son Jay and wife Heather, and his grandchildren Eli, Taylor, Theodore, Tate.

Also survived by his siblings Mary and Mark Chavez, Leona and Daniel Escamilla, Ina and James Rivera, Paul and Marie Ashbacher, brothers-in-law Bill Sobien, John Wood, Jeff and Renee Wood, and his mother-in-law Martha Snyder, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Andy requested that no services be held. The family extends heartfelt thanks to his friend Anthony Chavez for his support, and to his brother Paul whose love and steady presence brought comfort and strength to Andy when he needed it most.

Andy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

I'm so sad to hear of Andy's passing! We were friends all through our years together at Q of H. He was always kind and caring then. My heartfelt condolences to the family in dealing with this huge loss!
