Barbara Jane (Troha) Skelton



Barbara Jane (Troha) Skelton passed away January 2, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She fought hard against the cancer and complications that ended her earthly life, but her passing does not define the wonderful loving human being she was. Everyone who ever met Barbara quickly learned what a caring soul she was and became a part of her extended family of much-loved friends. She was the wonderful and loving mother of three sons, Richard Jr., Robert, and Jeremy. Barbara was also the proud grandmother of granddaughter Ellianna, and grandsons Theodore and Samuel, who will always remember the fun they had attending "Camp Grandma" over the years. She was blessed to have been born into a large Georgia family that provided love and support throughout her life. Barbara was preceded in death by her father George William Troha, and lovely Irish mother Anne Marie (Lafferty) Troha, uncle Frank and wife Margaret, uncle John Ed and wife Edith, uncle Alfred and wife Phyllis, uncle Robert and wife Jeweline, and uncles Joseph (Ludy), Phillip, and Daniel. Barbara is survived by her sisters Helen Troha and Joanne Richardson, her husband Phil, and children Phil, Jr., Daniel, and Sean, his wife Me'Liza and sons Revan and Axton, aunt Joanne and husband Bill, uncle Herman and wife Mary, uncle Lawrence (Butch) and wife Sue, aunt Aline wife of Joseph, Ditha wife of Phillip, and Jan wife of Daniel.



A Celebration of Life and viewing will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at FRENCH-Wyoming. Visitation will start at 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM. The family invites those who cannot be present to participate via live streaming from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, which will be available through French.
