Danny Ramirez Obituary
Danny Florez Ramirez, 54, born October 30, 1960 in Artesia, NM died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in Albuquerque, NM. In high spirit wherever he went, Danny Ramirez, brought happiness and unity to anyone and everyone he came across. He meant many things to many people and was loved by each and every one. Danny was the person that shifted fluidly between being life of the party to that one you're able to relax and enjoy silence with; and everything in between. He was happiest around family, friends, his community, and the great outdoors. Dan the Man will be remembered for his never ceasing encouragement to family and friends for all the things they wanted and needed in life. This funny, cheerful, loving, hardworking, persistent, and gentle man will forever be remembered and exist eternally in all of our hearts. From his sons, Daniel Ray, Samuel, and Mark Ramirez, to his parents, Billy and Gloria Ramirez, his siblings, Dickie, Terri, and Timothy Ramirez, daughter-in-law Ashley and his grandchildren Ariana, Ajani, Alexander, Calinda, Zachary and Mahalia Ramirez, and other loving family members and friends, Danny will greatly be missed.
Danny graduated from Eldorado High School in 1979, and then proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was devoted to Ramirez Drywall, Inc. and a longtime member of the New Mexico Carpenters Union Local 1505. Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Ramirez.
A celebration of his life will be held at Casa Del Rey, 2500 Corona Dr. N.W., Albuquerque, NM, 87120 on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00am with Pastor Louie Esquibel Officiating. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors at 3:00pm. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008.

May God bless Danny's Family and friends. I knew Danny in elementary school and Junior High. He was always kind too me and one heck of a athlete. Always a great person to be around.

Danny you will forever be missed. You were such a good guy and handsome too. Your genuine personality, your smile and laugh always brought joy. You were always loving, playful and kind. You are gone way too soon.
We were so blessed and honored to have you as a pallbearer for my mom, Auntie Talo. I am so so sorry that I wasn't able to attend your funeral. The Ramirez family has always been close knit especially in times of loss. It was difficult not to be there with everyone else to say our temporary farewell. When I first heard of your passing, I envisioned you and Timmy together, two brothers ever so joyful to see each other. I believe that is your time together to walk the streets of gold. I know your both just fine. Even as I post this entry, I have visions of Auntie Talo smiling at you sweetly, saying "welcome to your new home Mijo, it's good to see you."
We love you Danny and always will. I think all our cousins can agree the dynamics of the Ramirez family will never, ever be the same without you. Rest in peace, "Dan the Man."
