I'm very sorry to hear that David has passed away and I've only just heard this sad news 18 months on. I directed David in a comic music video in Sydney, Australia called The Procrastinator many years ago now. He was funny on screen with great physical comedy and funny in person. We last met for a drink in North Sydney a few years ago when he was back in Australia and had a great catch up then. He was busy writing as I was and keen to collaborate creatively. He was a lovely human being and I'm very glad I got to know him.

I remember David as a huge part of my childhood, as Alison and I have been the best of friends ever since. One of the memories that I hold dear is David being Alisons champion, getting her out of a bad situation, because he loved his little sister so much. I like to think that he guards you still, Alison, and his love for you will always endure.

Very sad to hear of Daves passing. He was on our first ever Kosher Komedy show and it was a privelage to have worked with Dave in comedy over the years. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his entire family and loved ones.

Dave's Australian friends are shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I first met Dave when he was in Sydney nearly 20 years ago. For me he was one of a kind - a Jewish US Marine from New Mexico. He was at that stage just starting work on his comedy. After he left Australia he used to come back periodically and we would catch up either in Sydney or in the US. He was a great guy. I wish long life to his family and friends.

David has always been a great friend and confidant. He always made me laugh and I enjoyed the time we spent together. Memories of our time together in high school and at the university are many. The expedition out of Beaver Town at 1 or 2 in the morning comes to mind. Time spent talking about the Marine Corp and letters written during the Gulf War. When he was in town, we would meet up at the Frontier. His presence and friendship will be sorely missed. Baruch dayan ha'emet my friend.

Shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. Grew up with him,and a large group of neighborhood buddies that were always together. The underground fort in the vacant lot behind my house, bottle rocket and tennis ball cannon wars at Twin Park, swimming at his parent's house and Tanoan, ski trips to Taos...the memories are floodding in. Rest in peace David!
