Deborah Valencia Obituary

Valencia, Deborah "Debbie" Ly (Morris)

Deborah "Debbie" Ly Valencia (Morris) went to be with God on September 2, 2015. She was born December 18, 1955 in Albuquerque, where she has lived all her life.

Debbie is predeceased by her parents, Morgan and Katherine Morris; brothers, Morgan and Michael; sisters, Katherine Curcio and Patricia Morris-Moreno; and Debbie's husband Christopher.

She is survived by daughter Tiffany Gutierrez, the light of her life. Also her sister Peggy; nephews, Brian and Sylvia, Kevin and Daisy; nieces Anna Maria and Marshall, Theresa, Meghan and Andrew; plus many great-nieces and nephews. She is dearly loved by all of her nieces and nephews. One of Debbie's greatest joys was teasing and being teased by them.

Debbie's hobbies were baking and painting. Family birthdays were especially fun with her cakes of all shapes and designs. Her Christmas cookies had been a favorite with her supervisors and co-workers.

She will be truly missed by those who love her.

If you wish, contributions can be made to the Cancer Society in Debbie's name.

Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 6th St and Copper Ave NW on Monday, September 14th. Rosary will be at 9:30 am with Mass following at 10:00 am.
