I remember Garett from when he was a young boy. He was always sweet and kind and had a smile on his face every time I would see him. I met Garett through my brother, Rick Sanchez, and his father, Tom Rex.
It saddened me to learn of his passing. I have often thought about him and his lovely sister, Ginger.
Knowing he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior makes me smile.
May God bless the family and all those who knew him.

To the Rex and McNeese family, I am deeply saddened by your loss. Garett and I were friends from childhood, and even though we lost touch, we would occasionally run into each other over the years. My heartfelt condolences go out to his mother, Judy McNeese, her husband Bill, his sisters, Ginger and Torey, and to the entire extended family, including his two sons. May you all find strength and comfort in each other during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy...

I will truly miss Garett. He was one of the first people who welcomed me to the neighborhood when I bought the house next door. We would often have driveway chats, laughing about his dogs, or talking about work. Garett participated in Christmas cookie decorating at my home and other social gatherings. One time we pretended Garett had been taking piano lessons from me and had everyone fooled until he took his hands off the piano and waved at everyone while I was still playing giving everyone a huge laugh. He was always so kind to me. My deepest sympathies to Garetts family. I played 'amazing grace' on the piano just for Garett, may he rest in eternal peace
