What a wonderful colleague Jim was when we worked together in the AG's office. I learned a great deal from him, and for many years ran into him frequently as he pursued his polygraph career. My sincere condolences to his family.

Jim's catching smile, insouciant humor, intellect, and insight, coupled with his raucous laughter, was a never a dull moment kind of guy who was great to work with. I learned a great deal from my years of association with him from his investigative prowess to his profuse writing skills. His perceptiveness and sharp wit always resulted in much laughter and enjoyment even when engaged in often solemn investigations. He leaves an unrivaled legacy in his law enforcement career and will be truly be missed.

Duty, decency, reliability, honor, dignity, respect: These are all the qualities that, Jim Wilson, held in a high esteem, but practiced everyday during his time here on earth. Its difficult to imagine Jim not being around and we are unsure how we will cope. Jim, you were a soul that brought joy and fullfilment to many and who's legacy will live forever. Our condolences to his dearest, his family. Love and blessings to you all!

Jim was a great friend, boss and mentor. His intellect and quick wit were legendary to his friends who were often the point of his humor, as DH and DF will always remember. There will never be another that could move in New Mexico political circles as he did with such an irreverent style of humor that no one else could ever get away with or even dare to try. He leaves special shoes that no one will fill, he will be missed by many. Good bye my friend, may peace be upon you and your family.
