Jim was one of my best friends. We both had Cushman motor scooters we rode to Jefferson Jr. High and Highland High. And, enjoyed riding all over the NE heights. And, I recall looking back at him on a ride in the Manzano Mountains and ran my scooter off the road and crashed. Fortunately, his Dad was following us. Really enjoyed our basketball games on his small concrete court connected behind his home. And, the baseball games in the cul de sac adjoining his home and with his neighbors. He loved football at Jefferson Jr. High and at Highland HS. Jim, stayed in Albuquerque when i left to got to the Univ. of Alaska, returning for a semester at UNM then to UofAZ. Kellus Sewell, lived in Alaska over 40 years, and now a resident of Durango, Colorado.
