Jose Moises "Moe" and Eileene D. Salazar



Jose Moises Salazar went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2021 and Eileene D. Salazar went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2022. Moe was born on February 26, 1937 in Los Sauces Colorado to Juan Benito Salazar and Solema Martinez de Salazar. He is survived by his two sisters Filomena Muniz (Denver, CO), and Edith Hammond (Aurora, CO). Moe worked for Hoffmantown Auto Body Shop until he retired. Moises was a loving husband and father who enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Eileene was born on August 5, 1936 in Mogote Colorado to Alfredo Roybal Sr. and Theodora "Teddy" Roybal. She is survived by sisters Phillis Gallegos (Aurora, CO) and Jennette L. Petty (Denver, CO), and brothers Albert Roybal (Lovatos, CO), and Joel Roybal (Antonito, CO). . Eileene had different jobs, starting with JC Penny, Sears, Mail Boxes, and Pearl Vision, but her main job was caring for her family. They are both survived by son Angelo Salazar (Albuquerque, NM) and daughter Nancy Salazar (Aztec, NM). A memorial service will be held on September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd N.E. Albuquerque, NM. Burial will take place in Colorado at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in their memory to DLD Sycamore School 8600 Rd. Academy Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87111.
