Leveo Victor Sanchez III, beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Great Uncle died on Friday, January 26, 2024 in Washington, D.C. Leveo was born August 22, 1966 in Washington D.C. and was the son of Leveo Victor Sanchez II and Patricia Marshall Sanchez. Leveo is survived by his Father, Leveo Victor Sanchez II of Santa Fe, New Mexico, His sisters, Lia Patricia Sanchez of Arlington, Virginia, Victoria Elena Sanchez (Mitchell D. Gabor) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and by six nieces and nephews and their husbands, Ryan Stites, Melissa Stites Miller (Matthew), Kimberly Stites (Daniel Hartigan), Morgan Stites, Austin Griggs and Marselina Griggs. He was a great uncle to Juliet Miller, Alice Miller and Cary Hartigan.

Leveo graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Economics and Business Administration and went on to be a very successful loan officer. He moved from Northern Virginia to Albuquerque NM in 1995, and continued his work in mortgages for many years while helping families there become homeowners. While in New Mexico he joined touch football and volleyball clubs and enjoyed his involvement with Highlands University. He frequently rode his Harley up in the Northern part of the state into Chama, one of his favorite rides. He then returned to the Washington DC area and continued in the same industry until just the last few years.

Leveo savored life! He loved to travel, experience new places, eat all kinds of foods, and expose himself to interesting cultures. Summers he could be found at the beach hanging out with his large group of friends who all enjoyed his company in part because of his incredibly quick sense of humor. Everyone that knew him knew how much he loved music and attended hundreds of concerts. He relished in all that there was to know about the music industry and could recall all sorts of trivia to everyone's amazement. His memory to recall historical and scientific facts was another area in which he took great pride. He traveled all over the world including Thailand, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Costa Rica & many countries in Europe.

He was kind and caring and learned much from his Abuela, Victoria D. de Sanchez as he tried to emulate her generosity and empathy. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends around the country. In lieu of flowers, please support his favorite causes, The Humane Society, ASPCA and any other organization that will help your own community keep animals from being euthanized and encourage adoption.
