Maria was a very kind and special person. I remember when I first met her. Felt like I had always known her. We took many hikes up Sandia mountains with my dogs. Even though she had a long hard health battle she never gave up and she stayed positive. We enjoyed having lunch together and having ice cream. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known and I am blessed to have had her as a friend. Even though I moved away we still kept in touch. I will miss her so much. Rest in peace, angel.
