Regina Weeks Obituary
Regina Faith Weeks age 55, our loving GiGi went to be with our Lord on Friday December 4, 2020. She was born on October 13, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Salem State, in Massachusetts and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Drug and Alcohol Counseling. She was an employee of Albuquerque Job Corps and was a licensed Social Worker.
Regina is survived by her daughter Gennifer Vallejos (Fernando); grandsons, Francisco (Alicia) and Santiago Vallejos; great-granddaughter Xiomara Vallejos; sisters, Paula Quick, Maria Lynch, Renee Hoagland, Rachelle Slape; brothers, Gene Jr, Christoper and Damon Weeks; Aunts, Anita Smith, Pamela Bales, Linda Newland, Sandy Parker; uncle Rodney Newland; niece Breanna Quick; cousin Sheila Beraun. She also leaves behind many other cherished family and friends. Regina was preceded in death by her baby sister Sheila; parents Marietta and Bliss Eugene Weeks.
Regina had a beautiful soul with a heart of gold and was a prayer warrior. She loved Jesus, studying the bible, cooking, music, her cats-Sugah and Etta and writing poetry. She adored her family and friends. Regina had a passion for helping others. She had a colorful life and used her experiences to reach out to others-she never met a stranger. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church at 1400 Arenal Rd. SW Albq, NM 87105 on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 8:20 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Serenity Mesa.

Mom-1 month ago today I had no idea we would share our last phone call, hug and it would be the last time I would see you in this life. I want you to know that you are so loved! Your life, your volunteer work, your testimony really impacted numerous people-and as you would say, if I can make a difference in one person, it was all worth it-I don't think you realized the amount of people you touched and the difference you made in so many lives. You will never be forgotten!! Until we meet again, I love you.
