Russell Gossett

Our beloved Russell Gossett, age 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. He is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Born on March 8, 1943, Russell graduated from Valley High School and joined his father's business, Gossett Construction Company. After his father retired, he and his brother Bob founded Gossett Brothers Inc. in 1971, where he dedicated his career until retiring in 2024.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, and his sons: Clay and wife Tracey Gossett, Joel and wife Laura Gossett, and Dean Gossett. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Chris Gossett, Anthony Gossett, Casey Gossett, Torri Castello, Logan and wife Jerianne Gossett, Aaron Gossett, James Kirk Jr., Jason Kirk, Elani Gossett, and Kyra Gossett as as well as many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nadine Gossett; his brothers, Allen Dale Gossett and Bob Gossett; his sisters, Lynne Gossett Cundiff and Robyn Gossett; and his stepson, James Kirk, Sr.

Russell will be remembered for his steady presence, unwavering devotion to family, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for the fall. Details will be announced through Daniel's Funeral Home.
