Sandra Eileen (Clark) Popplewell



Sandra Eileen (Clark) Popplewell, 77, of Albuquerque, NM moved on to her heavenly home on February 25, 2024. She was the oldest of seven children of the late Stanley and Rowenna Clark, born on February 9, 1947 in Fredonia, PA.

Sandra was a joyful and faith-filled woman who put God first in her life and shared her faith with many. She had a great sense of humor, was a good story teller, a good teacher of the gospel. and a great encourager of others She enjoyed reading. singing and sharing her love of the Lord Sandra was a hard worker all of her life. She did missionary work on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Gallup, NM for many years and, more recently, at the Joy Junction homeless shelter in Albuquerque, NM. She co-led a church with her former husband and helped run a Native American handmade jewelry business Earlier in her life she worked for many years at GM in Lordstown, OH and for several other organizations. Sandra was a graduate of Lakeview High School (Stoneboro, PA), class of 1965.

Sandra is survived by: four children: Thomas (Sue) Sanford of San Bernadino, CA, Lisa Puskar of Youngstown, OH, Julianne Popplewell of Albuquerque, NM and Byron Popplewell of Grants, NM. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Cain, Sean, Zane and Logan, three great-grandchildren: Chloe, Daphne and Zane Jr. and her six siblings: Owen (Myong) Clark, Lindy (Ed) Gahagan, Paul (Lori) Clark, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Clark, Sue McCarthy and Amy Clark and many nieces and nephews.
