Shirley, my dearest friend, I miss you so much. The fun and laughs that we had, the talks and get togethers all too brief but so warm and loving. We'll meet again some day, I hope, if I'm so lucky.

She may be gone from this life but she will always be in my heart. Shirley has been the dearest friend since 1962 in Delaware. She has been like my 2nd sister and have loved her dearly. Recently I reminded her of the time that I nearly convinced her that her refrigerator was green (in Meadowood, Del.) She immediately went home and called me back to correct me. We laughed over that incident MANY times! I will miss her contagious laughter, humor, sentiments, and bright smile. I love you Shirley.

I will never forget the time we went on a womens choir trip to England, Scotland, and Wales. At one of the hotels, she had the adjoining room, and I could hear her talking through the toilet. I called to her, and we talked through the toilet. We always got a big laugh over that.
She was always happy.
