Viola Conrad Obituary

Viola S. Conrad

Viola Siler Conrad was born August 21, 1935, and passed away May 23, 2025, following a brief illness. Vi lived most of her life in Albuquerque and is leaving a tremendous hole in the lives of her family and her many friends. Whether she worked with someone or met them at one of the many jobs she held, she made an impression in their livesin her kindness, her wit, and her generosity. Vi was the life of any party she either attended or gave. Always quick with a joke, a story, and a cold drink, she made everyone feel welcomed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Ann Siler, her siblings and her son-in-law, John. She will be greatly missed by her four daughters: Mary (and Rick), Susan (and Joey), Karen, and Jeanne (and Mark); her grandchildren: Peter, Claire (and Mike), Conrad (and Emily), Eric (and Hayley), Anne, Max, Ashley, and Katie (and Ryan); and her great-granddaughter Aurelia. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who considered Aunt Vi their favorite.

We will be celebrating her life on Thursday, August 21, 2025, on what would have been her 90th birthday.

In lieu of flowers paint a picture, sew an outfit, see a community play, enjoy your friends and family, and raise a glass to Vi.
