Bill passed on 6/12/22. He was a loving father, retired math professor, and author who loved art, yoga, classical piano, history, science, animals, nature, and his daughters. Memorial will be held at Trujillo Funeral Home at 2pm on 6/18/22.

I knew Bill well during both his years in Norman, Oklahoma and his couple of years living in Chicago.
We shared much in terms of classical music in many forms, philosophy - general and in concrete social terms, and many daily life issues. A lovely and sensitive and incredibly brilliant man - whose life came to its highest point, as he himself said - with his two wonderful daughters. I know that Bill's incredible sense of depth in living and thoughtfulness that never ceases, among other great qualities, will persist in many, many peoples' intio the future. My very best to his family.

Condolences to your family. Mr. Epler helped me pass a course that was very difficult for me, but necessary for my career. He treated each person like they mattered. So grateful for his teaching style - it was about learning over just test scores.

Dear Patty, Katie, and Lauren,
We are so sorry for the loss of your brother and father. My favorite memory is when Bill visited my mother's house in San Antonio and played beautiful piano music for us. He was a man of many talents.
