Dula "T-Mae" Hargrave

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Dula (T-Mae) Hargrave, age 92, the former Dula Gaspard, who passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Evangeline Oaks Guest House in Carencro. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Pastor James Craft of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate at the services. Mrs. Hargrave was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette. She was a parishioner of Calvary Baptist Church in Lafayette. Survivors include her children, Sharon Hollier and her husband, Gordon, of Breaux Bridge, James Hargrave and his wife, Glenda, of Spring, TX, Judy Broussard and her husband, Michael, of Breaux Bridge, Terry Hargrave and his wife, Missy, of Carencro, Darlene Duhon and her husband, Michael, of Breaux Bridge and Cynthia Velez and her husband, Hector, of Jacksonville, FL; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Weston Hargrave; her second husband, William Adcock; one son, Anthony Hargrave; three sisters, Verlie Wright, Hellen Schexnayder and Mary Pearl Gaspard; one grandson, Benjamin Simon; and one great-granddaughter, Ashyn Kay Hollier. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Simon, Cody Simon, Gregory Duhon, Collin Hebert, Joey Venable and Patrick Venable. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Hargrave and Billy Alvis III.
