Nathan Phillips

On Tuesday, July 24th, 2018, Nathan Phillips, husband and best friend, father, son, and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 32 years. Nathan was born in Louisville, MS, but for last 6 years, he has made Lafayette, LA, his home. Nathan will be forever missed and remembered by his family and friends from all over. Nathan enjoyed being with his wife and girls and playing pool with his buddies. You can always find Nathan with a tool, building something, fixing something, or taking care of his grass. Nathan also enjoyed the weekly Sunday services and lunch with his family and in-laws. Nathan loved his family so much, but he loved God most. Nathan knew Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. While no one is perfect, Nathan knew that with God all things were possible. To think he is running on streets of gold. He is finding out everything he has ever wanted to know. (He always had many questions.) Until we meet again... Please come as we celebrate his life here on earth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28th, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Family Life Church located at 2223 Dulles Dr., Lafayette, LA 70506. He is survived by his wife, Lizette "Lizzy" Phillips; daughters, Hunter, Cassie, and Gabriella Phillips; mother, Dianne Phillips; brothers, Chad and JP Phillips; sister, Carmen Matzek; and nieces. Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Lester Glen Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ike Triplett, Jack Robinson, Stephen Casanova, Andrew Long, and Mikey Ochoa.
