Cathy Louise Criss

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Cathy Louise Criss, 71, of Hernando, MS passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Greenleaf Methodist Church. Cathy was born on June 18, 1954 in Memphis, TN to Lavada and Arthur Daughtry. She was a member of Greenleaf Methodist Church. Cathy liked to sew and enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles. She also loved spending her time outside, whether it was relaxing fishing or cutting the grass. Cathy loved everyone and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She was always so supportive of her family in whatever they needed and loved them dearly. Left to cherish Cathy's memory is her husband, Carl Van Criss of Hernando, MS; daughter, Tonia Graham (Earney) of Coldwater, MS; step-sons, Adam Hinson (Ashley) of Coldwater and Richard Hinson Lewis (Alvin) of Millington, TN; granddaughter, Megan Sullivan (Zachery) of Hernando; step-granddaughter, Jazlyn Hinson Lewis; step-grandson, Christian Hinson; great-grandsons, Peyton and Harper Sullivan; sister, Shirley Diane Boggan; eight nieces and nephews; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Chad Edward Green; parents, Lavada Hughes Daughtry and Arthur Douglas Daughtry; sister, Connie Daughtry Floyd; and, brother, Arthur "Junior" Daughtry.
