Derick Lyle Hampton

Derick Lyle Hampton, age 66, of Monette, passed from this life Monday, August 18, 2025, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Son of Callie Yates Hampton and the late Donald Hampton, he was born in Monette and raised in Manila. He was a graduate of Manila High School and had been a Monette resident for the last 37 years. Derick worked in the maintenance department for Brown Shoe Factory and Butterball, where he later retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include: His wife of 37 years, LaDonna Hampton of the home 1 son, Robert Aaron Hampton of Monette 1 daughter, Crystal Hampton of Leachville His mother, Callie Hampton of Manila 4 grandchildren, Katelyn Hampton, Kennedy Hampton, Emily Atchley, and Amber Bice 2 great-grandchildren, Weston Atchley and Everett Atchley Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery in Monette. The family will receive visitors Monday from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
