Nancy Foshee Obituary

Nancy M. Foshee, 73, of Drummonds, passed away on Tuesday, August 19 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Martha Morgan. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Frank Foshee; one son, Charles W. Foshee; one sister, Jennifer Clinghan; one brother, Russell Morgan; two nephews, two nieces; a grand-nephew; a grand-niece; one step-daughter, Holli (Steve) Miller; five step grand children and four step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Morgan and a step-daughter and her husband, Kathi (Rick) Peterson. Nancy was a career elementary and high school teacher. Most of her career was with the Memphis/Shelby County School System. Since 2009, she was also an active member of River City DAR. She enjoyed painting and writing as well as singing and participating in church at the Raleigh UMC, Millington First UMC and the Clopton UMC. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 23 at the Clopton United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Clopton Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
