Gail Probert Obituary

Gail Lee Probert, 54, died peacefully Aug. 11, 2010, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by her family.

She was born Dec. 25, 1955, in Spokane, Wash. She lived in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Seward but called Delta Junction her home for 47 years.

Her family wrote, "To sum Ma's life in mere words is impossible. Gail was the most passionate person in every aspect of her life from cooking to politics. With an open heart, she accepted all of us with open arms and showed us how to love unconditionally. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She will be missed dearly."

She was preceded in death by her sister, Anita Lynn Probert.

She is survived by her parents, Alfred and Dorothy Probert of Delta Junction; brothers, Steven and Richard Probert of Delta Junction; sons and daughters-in-law, Darren Probert and Rhea Hansen of Delta Junction and Loyd and Tisha Pike of Anchorage; many nieces and nephews; and many others that called her ma.

A memorial account has been set up in her honor at Mt. McKinley Bank. Please contact Darren Probert at 907-803-3025.

Arrangements are with Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home.

To the family of Gail Probert,
Sorry to hear of your mom/sister/daughters passing. If words can help comfort you I hope this does. Gail was a very, very nice person. I went to highschool with her in Delta High from 72-74. I will keep you in my prayers.
