Janice Hulme

HULME, JANICE A. "JUDY" (BEAUREGARD) 75, of Cumberland passed away peacefully Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of William A. Hulme. Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Theophile and Yvonne (Jussaume) Beauregard, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 50 years. Mrs. Hulme was educated in both Fall River, MA and Pawtucket, RI. She was employed for several years at the former Texas Instruments, Attleboro and left this employment to raise her two sons. Later, she was a hairdresser for 40 years before retiring. Mrs. Hulme discovered a hidden talent in both sewing and quilting. Throughout her career in quilting, she earned many 1st place honors at various showings. Many of her wall hangings and quilts have become cherished gifts by several of her immediate family. Besides her beloved husband, she was the devoted mother to her two sons, William J. Hulme and his wife, Diane of Cumberland and Christopher J. Hulme and his wife, Michelle of South Attleboro, MA. She also leaves a dear grandson, Terron; two dear granddaughters, Tabitha and Natasha; two great granddaughters, Lilly and Rena-Jae; and two great grandsons, Victor and Elijah. She also is survived by one sister, Theresa Beauregard of South Attleboro, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Annette Vine. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 23 at 10 A.M. in Historic St. Joseph's Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Her burial will be private.
