Jeffrey Kyle Morse, 21, died on Sept. 8, 2017. His King Island Eskimo name was "Anakaguc."
On Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, a visitation will be held at 1 p.m., and funeral service at 2 p.m., at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel in Anchorage, Alaska. On Oct. 9, 2017, the burial will be held at 1 p.m. at the Nome Alaska Cemetery.
Jeffrey was born on Aug. 9, 1996, in Anchorage. He grew up in Alaska and Arizona. He loved camping and traveling with his mom on many fun adventures. He was a Mickey Mouse fan and on his 18th birthday, he celebrated at Disneyland. He worked as a security guard. The happiest day of his life was when his son was born! He was a very proud father! He loved his son dearly!
His family wrote: "He was an awesome son, brother, uncle and father. He loved to draw, and was an avid reader who would search for new bookstores. He was a very friendly person who would brighten your day with his smile. He was always eager to lend a helpful hand to anyone. He was our Superman. He is missed every second of the day by his family and friends."
He is survived by his son, James; mom, Theresa; sisters, Stefanie and Megan; nieces, Mariah, Alyssa, Zamariyah and Faith; nephews, Chucky, Malakai and Jayden; aunt, Marie; uncles, Eric and Tommy; brothers-in-law, Charles and Derek; and many relatives and friends in Alaska and Arizona.
