Mr. Vinson was a great guy the years we were at West High, class of '71. As an assistant principal, he made many of us feel good about ourselves, our community and joked/chatted it up often with kids in the halls. Thanks Kay, for setting a great example. We won't forget you. Love and light to you & your family.

Mr. Vinson was my favorite administrator at West High. As a student, I had to visit with him regularly because I acted out in class. SO BORED!! Later, I worked at West High when the pool opened. He and Mrs Vinson were friends with my Mom and I got to know him when I was an adult. He truly was one of my absolute favorites at West and gave me hope that others could learn from his example. Thank you Mr Vinson. I couldn't have made it without you! Peace to the family.
