Leon Seltenreich Obituary

Leon Nicholas Seltenreich, 80, of Willow, Alaska, passed away quietly on Dec. 26, 2017. Leon was the son of Reuben and Mary (Schneider) Seltenreich of Mankato, Minn. The loving husband of NancyLou Carol Lapp Seltenreich passed away in his home on Dec. 26, 2017, in Florence, Ariz., after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 61 years; and four children, James (Sharon) of Willow, Gary (Melissa) of Wasilla, Alaska, Patrick (Trish) of Idaho, and Tammie (Terrel) of Wasilla. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Leon served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 Years, retired in 1976, then worked for Arco, Alaska, and retired from there in 1994.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kimberly; and his brother, Gene, also of Willow.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Leon's Willow residence, 12487 Gilead Way, on Aug. 4, 2018, beginning at 4 p.m.
