Madio Littlefield Obituary

Eagle River resident Madio Dean Littlefield, 21, died peacefully May 19, 2008, at his Utah home while surrounded by loved ones.

The family writes that "our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend passed away at his home away from home."
Madio was born March 30, 1987, in Anchorage, to Mark and Debbie Littlefield, "where he lived life to the fullest," his family said. "Madio was an energetic, loving and sensitive individual that touched many lives in many ways. He loved fishing, the outdoors, spending time at the cabin, playing hockey in Alaska, bowling and spending time with his family and friends.

Madio is survived by his parents, Mark and Debbie and his younger brother, Hunter; grandparents, Ruby Sato, William (Dean) and Guyla Littlefield; extended Alaska family, Patricia and Joe (deceased) James, Rob and Mary Hensley; aunts and uncles, Pat (Fernie) Sanchez, Henry Sato Jr., Bill (Lezlie) Sato, Loretta (Lorenzo) Lucero, Karl Sato, Audrey Sato, Wade (Rosie) Littlefield and Patti Dawkins; and cousins, Felicia, Paul, Cindy, Bobby, Jacklyn, Livia, Lewisa, Chris, Joshua, Lyndsey, Cali, Corby and Jamie.

Debbie and Mark,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember when Madio would skip going to the "Little Red School House" and come over to our home to play with Nathan and Jason. Losing a child is the hardest challenge in life you will ever endure. We know as we lost Jason in April. Remember all the special moments with him and his great smile. Our prayers are with you all and if there is anything we can do please let Kirk and I know. Call me when you are up to it.
