Richard Sather Obituary
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai. Burial will follow the service at Spruce Grove Memorial Park near Kasilof, and a reception will follow the burial.
Rick was born Nov. 14, 1953, in Staples, Minn. He moved with his family to Alaska in 1964 and graduated from Kenai Central High School.
He worked as a roughneck for Inlet Drilling.
Rick enjoyed woodworking projects and many outdoor activities.
"Rick will be deeply missed by his immediate, extended family and many friends," his family wrote.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Sather, and a brother John Sather.
Rick is survived by his wife, Sherri Sather; daughters, Brandi and Baylee Sather; his mother, Phyllis Sather; and brothers, Bob and Paul Sather all of Soldotna.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
