Kathie,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Such a sad loss of a good man.
Gosh, I remember our many times together as down-the-street neighbors on Dimond. And, of course working with Rob as we launched our CPA careers at Ernst & Ernst in the 4th Avenue Theater Building. When Rob came on board, he brought the total staff to eight!
Rob and I were Anchorage Lions Club members. A classic memory is during Fur Rendezvous one year, we staged an argument and mock coming to blows. The set-to ended when shots were fired!! I had borrowed a couple of starter pistols from referee friends. Rob and I both emptied our six-shoot revolvers. We had feared that some of the older Lions might need 911 calls, none did!!
These are fond memories of and with Rob that I will always cherish.
Best, Dave Dahlke CPA #181
