My wife, Elizabeth, and I send our most sincere condolences on the loss of Chief Robert Shea to the extended Shea and Verge families.
I grew to know and enjoy Chief Shea during his tenure at Boston University, where we worked on many projects together. An avid raconteur, Bob often regaled me with his reminiscences of police work. And we often compared notes between Belmont and Los Angeles where I served and retired.
He will be missed by many.
